LOCATION Ballybough
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time Permanent (**Apply on the website** hours per

REPORTS TO: Youth Service Manager
SALARY: Circa **Apply on the website**K for full-time ? pro-rata.
ROLE PURPOSE: To deliver programmes, focused on young people under
**Apply on the website** years of age as identified by the Service.
THE ROLE:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To implement programmes in line within funding requirements
* To spend **Apply on the website**% of working hours in direct
contact with young people under **Apply on the website**, with an
emphasis on disadvantaged young people.
* To ensure organised programmes have a developmental content and
are tailored to the needs and interests of the participants
* To work late evenings and weekends to meet the needs of young
people.
* If required, to organise residentials as part of the programme
* To link with parents of young people involved in the Service and
other voluntary groups
* To attend and participate at staff meetings within the Service
* To represent the Youth Service, when requested, at various
committees
* To submit all paperwork within specified time period
* To apply for relevant grants related to ongoing work, in
consultation with your Line Manager
* To work within the ethos and values of Crosscare
* To implement the Crosscare Strategy
* To attend training relevant to the work
* To manage challenging behaviours and situations
* To work in collaboration with a team
* To carry out any other duties assigned by your line manager
THE HOLDER:
(QUALIFICATION/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Childcare Qualification minimum Level 5 or Youth Work Qualification
minimum Level 7 and a minimum of 2 years experience working with young
people.
